This is the Jackie Robinson patch that all MLB teams, players, coaches, umpires wore during the 1997 season. It was to celebrate the 50th anniversary of his first game he played in 1947 (Breaking Barriers). This patch is an original from the ERA (1997), many times taken directly off an authentic jersey and therefore fraying and normal wear and tear will existe.
